Code of Conduct

The Amsterdam Cryptocurrency Conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free, inclusive, and respectful experience for all participants.

Our Standards

We expect all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers to create a safe and positive experience for everyone. Behaviors that contribute to creating a positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
  • Focusing on what is best for the community
  • Showing empathy towards other community members

Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
  • Verbal, physical, or visual abuse
  • Disruptive behavior during presentations or events
  • Inappropriate photography or recording
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behavior

Enforcement

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.

Reporting

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of conference staff immediately. Conference staff will be identifiable by their "STAFF" badges.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all conference venues and conference-related social events. It also applies to online interactions related to the conference, including social media posts using official conference hashtags.
